One with All That Is

Sitting on a rock watching the sea flow in and out, bathing the heated shores of the island of Montserrat; feeling mother soothing the fever of her child . . . the very earth speaks to me of the lessons we as humans have been ignoring for hundreds of years. There was a time when man lived in harmony with nature and recognized the gifts, like the fertility of the volcanic mud and ash. Man has become so impressed with himself; the abilities of his opposing thumbs and gifted brain; he seems to have forgotten to be in community with the earth and sea which have nurtured him down through the ages. The voice of Montserrat speaks clearly in my mind teaching, caring, loving, drawing from me the gifts I bring to write the story and share the lesson of the ancient volcano at Montserrat.

Only 19 people were lost and that was only because some people are so stubborn they feel they can get the better of nature. That’s not happening. So the body passes and the spirit flies to challenge the earth another time or maybe to recognize itself. We are left with an amazing reminder that we are not all powerful. Ah but we are; it’s just how and where we choose to use the power. It takes a willingness to listen to the voice within so we can again recognize our connection with all that is. Our power is in the recognition of our weakness and the strength that come with submission to the wholeness of God Man and Nature.

There was a time when women had the knowing and flowed easily with nature. Man followed. Now woman is following man into an illusion of power that is a house of cards, bound to be blown away.

Women . . . Men . . . wake to the message Earth is showing us. Recognize true power in knowing we are one with all that is. We have experienced, as individuals in many lifetimes, all we need. It is time to honor that knowing and come together in our oneness to be all we are in the power of the Universal God. Be and know . . . we are . . .
